POSITION OVERVIEW
The Human Resources Generalist plays a crucial role in supporting and implementing various HR initiatives and programs. This position primarily focuses on full cycle recruiting, onboarding, leveraging various HRIS, and managing employee benefits and enrollment. The HR Generalist is responsible for ensuring the company attracts, hires, and retains qualified talent, while also providing support and assistance to employees regarding HR-related matters, including benefits. This position will be located at our Headquarters in Las Vegas, NV.
ROLE RESPONSIBILITES
- Full Cycle Recruiting: In partnership with our Talent Acquisition team, manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including job postings, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, coordinating assessments, checking references, and extending job offers.
- Onboarding: Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, including preparing offer letters, coordinating background checks, conducting orientations, and ensuring a smooth integration into the company.
- HRIS Management: Utilize the HRIS to maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, generate reports, track employee data, and streamline HR processes.
- Employee Benefits Administration: Administer employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, paid time off, and other company-provided benefits.
- Benefit Enrollment: Coordinate the annual open enrollment process, including communication with employees, providing educational materials, answering inquiries, and ensuring timely and accurate completion of benefit enrollment forms.
- Benefits Compliance: Ensure compliance with benefit-related laws and regulations, such as the Affordable Care Act (ACA), COBRA, and other applicable benefit laws.
- Employee Relations: Provide guidance and support to employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits, and address employee inquiries and concerns related to benefits in a timely manner.
- Performance Management: Assist in performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and employee development plans.
- Compliance and Policy Implementation: Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies by staying up to date with relevant regulations and effectively implementing HR policies and procedures.
- Training and Development: Collaborate with the Director of Human Resources to identify training needs and assist in organizing training sessions or workshops to enhance employee skills and knowledge.
- Projects: Support various HR projects, such as employee engagement initiatives, diversity and inclusion programs, and organizational development efforts.
- Additional duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
- A minimum of 3-5 years of experience as a Human Resources Generalist or equivalent; clinical behavioral health operations is a plus.
- High-School Diploma or Equivalent, Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or similar preferred
- PHR or SHRM certification highly desirable
