What are the responsibilities and job description for the Maintenance Manager position at Nevada Beverage Company?
This position is based out of Las Vegas Nevada, no remote work is available.
Job Summary: The Maintenance Manager is responsible for supervising the company's maintenance operations and processes as well as troubleshooting and repairing equipment and facilities.
Essential Accountabilities including but not limited to:
- Supervise, manage, direct, and coordinate the maintenance team to insure completion of all projects.
- Conduct risk assessments to identify possible hazards around building premises.
- Ensure adherence to health and safety procedures and policies.
- Prepare and manage maintenance budgets, proposals, work schedules, work orders, order needed supplies and parts and record daily maintenance activity.
- Determine when to use third party contractors or service providers and negotiate rates/terms of service.
- Develop maintenance procedures and ensure implementation
- Carry out inspections of the facilities to identify and resolve issues
- Check electrical and hydraulic systems of buildings to ensure functionality
- Plan and oversee all repair and installation activities
- Manage relationships with contractors and service providers
Additional Responsibilities:
Perform any other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Proven experience as maintenance manager or another managerial role. Experience in planning maintenance operations. Solid understanding of technical aspects of plumbing, carpentry, electrical systems etc. Working knowledge of facilities machines and equipment. Ability to keep track of and report on activity. Outstanding organizational and leadership abilities. Be able to work flexible hours when required including weekends or holidays. Must present themselves in a professional, neat, and clean manner always, always representing the Company positively. Must be able to speak, understand and write the English language. A valid, Driver’s License is required along with a good driving record. The Driver’s License must be always maintained. Must have knowledge of basic computer applications. Must attend all required Anheuser-Busch and Nevada Beverage Company training courses. The ability to sit, stand, and walk is required as well as minimal lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Skills and Qualification/Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree required preferably in engineering, administration, or facility management. Minimum experience of 10 years in a supervisory role. Working knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems. Familiarity in drafting and understanding blueprints and schematics. Ability to climb on and off equipment, up and down stairs and ladders and lift of up to 50 lbs. consistently.
