Job Title: On Premise Team Leader - Craft Focus
Department: Sales
Reports to: VP of On Premise
Hours/Days Worked: Monday - Friday
Job Summary: The Team Leader is directly in charge of their assigned Sales and Merchandising team and is accountable for insuring that all elements of sales and merchandising are executed at the highest level. Team leaders assist in creating focus on teamwork and communication, not only at the team level but throughout the entire organization.
Essential Responsibilities including but not limited to:
• Directly in charge of assigned sales team always encouraging, leading, coaching and mentoring the team to help attain personal and team success.
• Directly accountable for each team members overall performance.
• Must run sales routes when needed.
• Knowledge of all frontline and promotional pricing activity including competitive pricing.
• Work closely with KAM’s on execution of all chain programs.
• Work closely with the Merchandiser Manager and have a clear understanding on how the process works.
• Review monthly Impact goals with each sales team member prior to beginning of month. Monitor sales team member’s progress on Impact and motivated to attain desired results.
• Work closely with SEC regarding building Trimester POC plans, building and reviewing monthly Impact program.
• Monitor and formulate a plan to achieve all Sales Incentives and objectives.
• Ensure Sales Representatives adhere to Out of Stock and Quality Control policies and Procedures that are required by Anheuser Busch and Nevada Beverage Co.
• Work with Nevada Beverage Co. & Anheuser Busch marketing teams regarding any promotional activity within your territory.
Additional Responsibilities:
• Attend team and company product promotions
• Responsible for having all required paperwork turned in in a timely matter.
• Must stay current of opportunities and competitive activity within assigned accounts.
• Maintain a weekly team meeting schedule that adheres to all AOE standards.
• Make sure that sales team maintains professional appearance and behavior.
• Adhere to AOE standards set for Team Leader
• Maintain on-going Anheuser Busch Learning (ABU) Training
• Review daily reports.
• Required to forecast new product in your sales team’s territory.
• Ensure each team member keeps their company vehicle clean, organized and stocked with all essential sales material.
Required Skills/Abilities:
The Team Leader must be a strong leader, teacher, trainer, mentor, and coach but be able to counsel, discipline employees when the need arises. Complete knowledge of sales and merchandising procedures is required. Must present themselves in a professional, neat, and clean manner always, always representing the Company positively. Must be able to speak, understand and write the English language. A valid, Driver’s License is required along with a good driving record. The Driver’s License must be always maintained. Must have knowledge of basic computer applications. Must attend all required Anheuser-Busch and Nevada Beverage Company training courses. The ability to sit, stand, and walk is required as well as minimal lifting up to 25 pounds occasionally.
Education and Experience:
High School Diploma required. Successful completion of all required Anheuser Busch and Nevada Beverage Company training. The Team Leader must be Sales Rep Certified and Team Leader Certified through the ABU Certification Learning Program and must maintain all certifications through yearly recertification classes. The Team Leader must have all certifications and/or recertification programs completed by no later than October 1 of each year. Three years beverage sales experience is required. Some management experience is preferred.
