The purpose of the Weekend Anchor / Reporter position is to build and sustain trust and appeal to the 2 News Nevada audience and help earn the highest ratings possible. The Weekend News Anchor / Reporter should make sure the newscast is delivered to our audience in a clear manner they can understand and in a style that appeals to them and supports “Coverage You Can Count On.” The Weekend News Anchor / Reporter must make his / her mark in the community through personal appearances and involvement with different organizations.
The schedule is as follows :
- Saturday / Sunday evening shows (5pm, 6 : 30pm, 11pm)
- Weekday reporting Wednesday-Friday (regular daytime hours)
