A typical way to obtain the knowledge and abilities would be:
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field. Two years of experience may be substituted for one year of education.
• Knowledge and experience in working with California requirements for school district and/or charter school financial reporting is highly desirable.
• Experience in using a variety of software for personal computers and networks.
