Responsibilities
Nevada Health Centers is looking for a compassionate and mission-driven Mammography Technologist for our Mammovan with travel throughout Las Vegas and Northern Nevada.
Nevada Health Centers operates the Mammovan – a mobile mammography unit that travels to underserved areas of our state, providing mammograms to women in geographically isolated areas and those who are uninsured and may not otherwise seek mammography services.
This position requires paid travel throughout Nevada.
Summary
The Mammography Technologist is responsible for detecting breast tissue abnormalities by completing mammographic imaging studies and presenting them for diagnosis. Ensure all mammography equipment meets all standard required condition; assists with on-site supervision of operations of NVHC Mammovan.
Desired Education or Certifications Criteria:
- Associate Degree in Radiology from an accredited radiologic program
- Hold a current/valid American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) license.
- Current/Valid Nevada State license with a minimum of one-year experience working as a Mammography Technologist required.
- Current/Valid BLS
- Current/Valid Nevada Driver’s License or the ability to obtain one within 60 days of employment.
