Summary of the position:
The WIC Peer Counselor is a paraprofessional support person who gives basic breastfeeding information and encouragement to WIC pregnant and breastfeeding mothers.
Responsibilities
Requirements of the position:
- High school diploma, GED or equivalent
- Has successfully breastfed at least one baby.
- Bilingual English/Spanish required
