The primary function of the Clinical Systems Analyst is to provide direct support to clinicians and support staff in the delivery of patient care through the use of athenaOne electronic medical record (EMR) system. The Clinical Systems analyst will oversee the day-to-day support and serve as the primary point of support for athenaOne. This position will support any new or upgraded implementation module(s). Implementation tasks will include facilitating end-user application training, support go-live activities, monitoring end user adoption of new and existing EMR workflows. This role is expected to be proactive in the research of new features and functions of athenaOne and will assist the Operations and Clinical teams with incorporating new methods into their standard operating procedures. The Clinical Systems Analyst will provide ongoing training and support of all existing and new end users in applying athenaOne quarterly system upgrades.

Requirements
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Education And Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Healthcare or Information Technology or 5-8 years of supporting an electronic medical records system (EMR) consulting/data management experience or in a related area.
- Possesses excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team-oriented environment.
- Able to discuss the benefits of a Software as a Service Model
- Basic Knowledge of implementation and configuration of enterprise systems
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Cloud Platforms, and other software technologies.
- Ability to analyze data using statistical software according to strict timelines.
- Ability to learn quickly and think creatively.
- Strong leadership and project management skills.
- Detail-oriented individual with the ability to quickly assimilate and apply new concepts, business models, and technologies.
- Adherence to Good Clinical Practice (GCP) and other regulatory practices and laws.
- Proven experience as a systems analyst, preferably with expertise in healthcare management systems.
- Strong training and presentation skills, with the ability to convey technical information to diverse audiences.
- In-depth knowledge of AthenaOne or similar healthcare management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Responsible for providing support and optimization efforts for the EMR and other clinical integrated applications.
- Act as the EMR subject matter expert to all team members across the organization to assist/lead in implementation, support, and effective use of the EMR from both end-user and system administrator perspective.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clinical and non-clinical staff in their use of the EMR to advance workflows to optimal efficiency that reflects best practices set by the Clinical Operations team.
- Establish and maintain Knowledge Base articles for the organization regarding workflows in the clinical applications of the EMR.
- Responsible for daily issue resolution and support of the EMR and other clinical applications integrations.
- Provide on-going end user EMR training and support of workflows, upgraded, athenaOne quarterly enhancements and system downtime communications.
- Develop user guides and training manuals to support ongoing learning and system usage.
- Provide go-live support as needed to meet the needs of the business.
- Responsible for maintenance for interface queues, in collaboration with athena Interface Manager and third party vendors.
- Employee is required to have visual and auditory acuity necessary for communications with other employees and/or customers to meet business needs of NHVC.
- Employee must be able to see written documentation and be able to speak and hear for communication with employees/customers.
- Ability to use a wide array of office equipment including, but not limited to a PC, copier, fax, multi-line telephone, etc.
- Employee is exposed to general indoor working conditions and may on occasion require light lifting or no greater than 20 pounds and some offsite travel.
