Mission Support and Test Services, LLC (MSTS) manages and operates the Nevada National Security Site (NNSS) for the U.S. National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA). Our MISSION is to help ensure the security of the United States and its allies by providing high-hazard experimentation and incident response capabilities through operations, engineering, education, field, and integration services and by acting as environmental stewards to the Site’s Cold War legacy. The Information Technology Directorate is looking for a Data Analytics Manager.
Key Responsibilities

Annual salary range for this position is: $124,238.40 - $198,785.60.

Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership and Management:
- Recruit, Select, and Train employees; maintaining a safe, secure, and legal work environment; developing growth opportunities.
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of data analysts and engineers.
- Foster a collaborative and inclusive team culture.
- Set clear goals and expectations for the team.
- Conduct regular performance reviews, provide feedback, and support career development.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Data Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement data strategies that align with business objectives.
- Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouses.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and security.
- Project Management:
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and adherence to project scope and budget.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define project requirements, goals, and deliverables.
- Track project progress and report on key metrics and milestones.
- Technical Expertise:
- Stay current with industry trends and advancements in data analytics and engineering.
- Provide technical guidance and support to the team.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices.
- Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Work closely with business leaders, product managers, and other stakeholders to understand data needs and deliver actionable insights.
- Communicate complex data concepts in a clear and concise manner to non-technical stakeholders.
- Ensure alignment between data initiatives and business goals.
- Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Oversee the development of analytical models and dashboards to support data-driven decision-making.
- Analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities for business improvement.
- Present findings and recommendations to senior leadership.
Due to the nature of our work, US Citizenship is required for all positions.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent training and experience, plus a minimum of 11 years of related and progressively responsible experience.
- 10 years of experience in data analytics and engineering, with at least 4 years in a managerial role is highly preferred.
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages such as SQL, Python, Power Query and M.
- Experience with data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI.

Preferred Qualifications

- Knowledge of machine learning, predictive analytics, Generative AI.
- Work will be located at our Losee Road facility in North Las Vegas, Nevada is required in support of these functions.
- Flexible work schedule can be negotiated with the manager; employees can work 5/8s, 9/80s, or 4/10s.
- Pre-placement physical examination, which includes a drug screen, is required. MSTS maintains a substance abuse policy that includes random drug testing.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
