The Delivery Clerk plays a crucial role in ensuring the efficient management of materials within the hospital. This position is responsible for accurately picking and delivering items to fulfill orders, maintaining professionalism, monitoring and recording inventory levels, and assisting with other departmental tasks as assigned. The Delivery Clerk will also support the team by performing cycle counts and filling in as a Receiving Clerk when needed.
Essential Functions:
1.
Accurately pick and delivery items to designated locations.
2.
Stage items effectively for delivery throughout the hospital.
3.
Prioritize duties efficiently based on the needs of the department.
4.
Monitors inventory levels for discrepancies and take corrective action.
5.
Stocks all incoming freight to ensure accurate inventory placement.
6.
Unload shipments from various freight carriers.
7.
Operate manual and electric pallet jacks safely and effectively.
8.
Perform daily cycle counts and participate in annual inventory audits.
9.
Demonstrates professionalism in all interaction with their team members, hospital staff, and vendors, maintaining excellent communication and customer service.
10.
Complete other duties as assigned to support department operations.

Requirements:

High school graduate or equivalent.

5.
Comfortable using computers and inventory management systems to perform job duties effectively.
Preferred Requirements:

2 years of experience
