What are the responsibilities and job description for the Surgery Float position at Nevada Regional Medical Center?
* Base Pay Starts At: $15.00/ Based on Experience and Education*
OR FLOAT POSITION:
Pain Mgt
- Gather supplies for procedures in the ACU
- Set up for the procedures
- Print Pain Mgt schedule
- Acknowledge equipment usage for procedures
- Stock Pain Mgt rooms with information hand-outs, supplies
- Access to patient information ( x-rays, previous notes, procedures, medications, eval to chart).
- Put charts together, consents, and orders
- Phone calls to patients (scheduling, follow-up)
- PA’s
Central Sterile
- Operating sterilizers and other machinery
- Documentation of tests and records
- Packaging and tray assembly (inspection, assembly, counts)
- Delivering instruments to departments
- Inspection after sterilizing
- Decontamination
- Proper cleaning of instrumentation
Salary : $15
