The Nevada Community School District is looking for our next Food Service General Worker to join our team at NCSD.
This position begins ASAP with hours from 7am-2pm Monday through Friday. This position will float between the High School, Middle School, and Central Elementary. Training will be provided.

Responsibilities
- Assist in cooking, preparing and the serving of daily meals from the planned menu
- Assist with cleaning and following food safety procedures
- Ability to assist in filling out proper production records and food safety logs
- Maintain compliance with federal regulations regarding all School Lunch Programs
- Interact with all personnel, students, building patrons, federal/state inspectors, vendors and delivery persons with a positive can do attitude.
- Ability to operate all kitchen equipment
- Must be able to lift 30 lbs and stand on your feet for long periods of time
- Check in students at meal service on POS system
- Prepare lunch account deposits
- Perform other duties as assigned
- High school diploma / GED
- Food service experience preferred
- ServSafe Certification - Recommended, but District will provide paid training to obtain after 6 months of service.
