Job Description

Nevada State University School of Nursing has a 12-month, non-tenure track, lecturer position available starting in Summer 2025.

The lecturer position is primarily dedicated to a growing on-the-ground pre-licensure BSN program. The successful applicant will minimally hold an MSN degree, an unencumbered Nevada Registered Nurse license or ability to obtain prior to employment, and at least three years of direct patient care experience.

We are seeking outstanding nurse educators to work alongside dedicated faculty and staff in a highly collegial, interdisciplinary environment based on Caring Science. In the School of Nursing, Caring Science is infused throughout the curriculum and influences how faculty, staff, and students interact to achieve the institutional teaching mission. As a 12-month faculty member, your primary teaching assignment may include both lab / clinical and / or didactic instruction, based upon operational needs.

12-month Lecturer, Non-tenure track. Budgeted salary for this position is $84,000. Nevada State University offers excellent benefits, including 17.50% retirement match, 24 annual leave days, beginning balance of 30 sick leave days, 12 paid holidays, educational benefits, and three health insurance plans that can be supplemented with flexible spending accounts or health savings accounts.
