```Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Physical Education Specialists and lifeguards to join our team. As a Physical Education Specialist, you will be responsible for educating and inspiring students to lead active and healthy lifestyles. You will use our curated curriculum to create engaging lesson plans, teach various sports and activities, and promote teamwork and sportsmanship among students. In addition to after school, we have opportunities available for stay at home and retired PE professionals.
Duties:
- Develop and implement age-appropriate physical education curriculum
- Teach students various sports, games, and fitness activities
- Provide instruction on proper techniques and safety precautions
- Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and fair play among students
- Assess student performance and provide feedback
- Organize and supervise physical education classes and activities
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to integrate physical education into the overall school curriculum
- Plan and coordinate school-wide events such as field days or sports tournaments
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Physical Education or related field (preferred)
- Valid teaching certification in Physical Education (preferred)
- Experience working with students in an educational setting
- Strong knowledge of various sports, fitness activities, and health concepts
- Ability to effectively communicate with students, parents, and colleagues
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to manage a classroom environment
- CPR/AED certification

- Lifeguard certification for Lifeguard/Swim Instructor Positions
- Experience in behavior management techniques (preferred)
Skills:
- Educate: Ability to effectively educate students on physical education concepts and skills
- Childcare: Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting
- Experience working with students: Previous experience working with students in an educational or coaching capacity
- Lifeguard: Lifeguard certification or experience in water safety procedures
- Swim: Ability to swim proficiently and provide instruction on swimming techniques
- Behavior management: Ability to effectively manage student behavior in a classroom setting
Experience in teaching generalized and specific physical activity and sports skills.
