Youth Movement/Activity/Sports/Aquatics Coaches

We are looking for a Part-time Coach for 1-5 hours to work an after-school program in the Garden City area on Mondays and Wednesdays from 4-6 PM and possibly more if you desire to grow! This assignment begins on April 21 and ends on June 23rd. You will also be eligible for additional assignments as your schedule permits.

We can offer sessions at all hours of the day during the week and on weekends, and you can use all the equipment we provide. We may ask you to get fingerprinted and background checked—we will help with that process.

We seek a dedicated and compassionate Coach, Physical Education Teacher, Activity Specialist, and Personal Trainer to join our team. NeverStopMoving 365 Long Island provides our coaches to work with students at their homes and schools. We provide fitness training, activity, and sports-specific coaching, bike and swim lessons, birthday parties, and lifeguards for private events. In addition, we serve schools with pre/post-school activities and special events. This is an ideal position for teachers looking to supplement their income, certified PE teachers who are now stay-at-home moms/dads and retired PE educators looking to stay involved in the field and gain added income. Responsibilities

• Implement diverse activities, including games, physical activity sports coaching, and exercise programs, that cater to your student's interests and abilities. We have our proprietary curriculums available to assist you.
• Facilitate activities while ensuring a safe and supportive environment for all participants.
• Conduct "Fit-Tastic Birthday Parties" and bike riding lessons utilizing our NSM365 Curriculums.
• For those with additional certifications, Lifeguarding for clients and swim lessons.

Experience

• Previous experience in Physical Education. Current certification or enrollment in a degree program leading to certification is preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with students and their families.
• A background in Physical Education or related fields is advantageous but not absolute. Related experience will be considered.
