IMMEDIATE NEED!!!! We are looking to hire VERY quickly!!!
Hours: 6am to 3pm (with a 1-hour break)
Applicants:
- must be 18 or older
- must have a high school diploma or GED
- must be willing to submit to a Criminal History Background Check
- have experience working with children in a childcare setting (REQUIRED)

- WANT/NEED to work! (This is not a position for someone who is not serious about working and being active with children.)

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Assistant Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting the lead teacher in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for children. This position involves working with toddlers and infants, ensuring their safety, development, and well-being while fostering a love for learning.
Responsibilities
- Assist the lead teacher in implementing daily lesson plans and educational activities that promote childhood development.
- Provide attentive care for infants and toddlers, ensuring their physical and emotional needs are met.
- Maintain effective classroom management to create a positive learning atmosphere.
- Support children with disabilities by adapting activities to meet their individual needs.
- Engage with children through play, educational games, and hands-on activities to enhance their learning experience.
- Monitor children's progress and behavior, providing feedback to the lead teacher as needed.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including first aid procedures.
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's development and daily activities.
Qualifications
- Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is preferred.
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and practices.
- Strong classroom management skills to maintain an orderly environment.
- First aid certification is a plus; willingness to obtain certification if not currently held.
- Experience in toddler care and infant care is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with working with children with disabilities is beneficial.
- Previous babysitting experience can be advantageous.
- A passion for educating young children and fostering their growth.
