We are currently seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable part-time construction salesperson who has a strong construction background to join our team.
Job Description:
As a Part-Time Construction Service Salesperson at New Age Contractors, you will leverage your construction expertise in the field to connect with potential and current clients. Your role will involve meeting with new and existing clients to understand their construction needs. This will require you to visit customers homes, take and mark up photos, take measurements, and provide tailored proposals and estimates for the requested services. These services may include, replacing a front entry door, repairing subfloor, repairing a fence, replacing drywall, repairing decking and rails, installing a kitchen hood vent and backsplash, just for some examples.
Requirements
- MUST HAVE Interior and Exterior Construction Knowledge
- MUST HAVE experience with estimating and proposal writing
- Pass a Pre-Employment Drug Screening
- Pass a Background Check
- Provide a 10 Year Driving Record
- Valid Driver’s License
- Computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Knowledge on how to use an iPad and edit photos for estimating purposes
- Comfortable using Estimating and Salesforce Software
Key Responsibilities:
- Meet with potential and current clients to discuss their construction service needs.
- Prepare detailed proposals and estimates, including a list of materials and labor hours required for each project.
- Collaborate with the NAC team to ensure accurate project scope and client satisfaction.
- Follow up with clients as needed to ensure their questions are answered and their needs are met.
Qualifications:
- Strong background in the construction field, with experience in both interior and exterior repairs.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Computer skills and proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Efficient Time management skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
