Commercial Vehicle Operator

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Truck Driver to join our logistics team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently, ensuring timely deliveries while adhering to all safety regulations. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to handle a 26' Box Truck, Operate a Liftgate and Pallet Jack.

Responsibilities

• Operate commercial vehicles, including box trucks and delivery vans, to transport goods to designated locations.
• Load and unload cargo using pallet jacks and other equipment, ensuring proper handling of materials.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance with regulations.
• Maintain accurate delivery records and logs, including mileage, fuel consumption, and delivery times.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.
• Perform heavy lifting as required while ensuring proper lifting techniques are followed.
• Assist in moving items within warehouses or storage facilities as needed.

Experience

• Previous experience as a truck driver or in a similar role is preferred.
• DOT Medical Card Required {Must be current}
• Familiarity with commercial driving regulations and safety standards.
• Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is a plus.
• Ability to handle heavy lifting tasks safely and efficiently.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in maintaining delivery records.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
