Job Title Description :
The Stock Clerk / Shipping and Inventory Support is responsible for ensuring accurate inventory management, receiving and verifying Material, and supporting the shipping department in the preparation and dispatch of goods. This role plays a critical part in maintaining organized stock levels, submitting purchasing requisitions, and facilitating the timely shipment of parts, all while adhering to proper documentation and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities :
- Maintain and monitor stock levels for finished goods and partial subcomponents.
- Regularly update inventory records in the system, ensuring accurate tracking of all items, including materials to be scrapped.
- Organize and maintain the stockroom to ensure efficient access and optimal inventory control.
- Perform physical annual inventory on NAMF inventory, ensuring all items are accounted for and discrepancies are identified and resolved.
- Receive material, verify corresponding Pack Slips and Purchase Orders (POs), and ensure proper documentation.
- Scan and record all incoming merchandise and related paperwork in the system (Certs).
- Check pick lists and production demands, submitting purchasing requisitions as needed to ensure that required materials are ordered in a timely manner.
- Alert the Production Manager and Purchasing / Subcontracts Administrator of any discrepancies or challenges related to inventory or stock levels.
- Prepare and pack jobs for shipment, ensuring all required documentation (job number, PO number, customer name, part number, revision, and quantity) is included.
- Ensure that all products are packed securely to eliminate the risk of damage during shipping and comply with customer-specific packing instructions, including shipping fixtures when necessary.
- Verify that all products have passed inspection and that proof of inspection and Certificates of Compliance are included with shipments.
- Ensure that all products are free of Foreign Object Debris (FOD) prior to shipment.
- Assist with 2-person verification of shipments to prevent quantity discrepancies.
- Make packing labels and verify that the correct product lines are being shipped.
- Coordinate and schedule shipping pick-ups and drop-offs, ensuring timely delivery of goods.
- Ensure that all necessary operations are signed off on the traveler before shipment and that all documentation accompanies the parts to the appropriate inspection or shipping areas.
- Verify and count all parts received from OSL (Outsourced Services Logistics) and take them to inspection with their corresponding paperwork.
- Assist the Shipping Leadman with various shipping duties, including visual inspection of pieces before shipment.
- Maintain an accurate shipping log and update records in the system at the end of each day.
- Scan and record shipping forms (FedEx, UPS, TForce, DHL, etc.) with tracking information for each shipment.
- Responsible for shipping parts from stock or placing items into inventory.
