What are the responsibilities and job description for the Director of Security position at New Age Protection?
*This position requires an active Armed SLED security license.*
Shift: Full-Time, Open Availability for Days and Hours
Responsibilities:
- The Director of Security will be the primary point of contact for Florence Darlington Technical College.
- Responsible for the direct supervision of all assigned Armed Security Guards, ensuring that all terms and conditions of the contract are being fulfilled.
- Certify that all technical and job-related matters are accomplished promptly.
- Formulate schedules.
- Assisting the Area Manager and Administrative Assistant with organizing timesheets, time-off requests, etcetera.
- Ensure quick resolution of any problems which may arise.
- Guarantee that the customer is receiving quality service.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Active Armed SLED License
- Prior Security, Military, and / or Law Enforcement experience preferred
- Supervisory experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Valid Driver’s License
Physical Requirements:
- Physical fitness test
- Ability to lift at least 50 Lbs
- This position could required prolong sitting, standing, bending, stooping, walking flights of stairs, running, and being able to demonstrate the ability to defend yourself or others.
Qualifications:
- Excellent customer service skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; Outlook, Excel, and Word
