*This position requires the possession of a NM state issued Guard Card, Level 3.*
Shift: Full-Time, Open Availability for Days and Shifts
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing Officers.
- Be able to respond to any urgent matters, emergencies, and / or client needs on a 24 / 7 basis.
- Implement security policies and procedures that prioritize the safety of employees, clients, and vendors.
- Knowledge on RLD regulations as it pertains to Private Patrol Operators, Security Guards, and companies.
- Be able to execute the policies stated in the Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and the Employee Handbook.
- Be heavily involved in hiring new employees and provide efficient training.
- Monitor work performance of all Officers.
- Been active with employee orientation.
- Review all employee disciplinary actions and termination recommendations.
- Prioritizing the resolution of complaints and any issues that arise.
- Delegate tasks, when needed.
- Manage budgets and keep track of overtime expenditures.
- Monitor employee schedules.
- Prioritizing and maintaining a consistent attendance record.
- Focus on making sure staffing needs for the sites are fulfilled.
- Ensure uniform and equipment needs are met.
- Fulfill the requirement of completing performance evaluation reports.
- Successfully complete all required trainings, as needed.
- Partake in investigations and gather all the necessary information, when necessary.
- Effectively communicate with local law enforcement agencies, when necessary.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
- Possess and maintain a NM Guard Card, Level 3
- 5 years of supervisory / management experience
- Prior law enforcement or military preferred
- Having knowledge on various security environments, protocols and the associated hazards
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- College Degree preferred
- Valid Driver’s License with a clean NM MVR record
- Taser Permit
- Baton Permit
- OC Spray Certification
- Handcuffs Certification
- CPR Certification
Physical Requirements:
- Sitting, standing, and walking for extended periods of time.
- Have the ability to climb stairs, ramps, and occasionally ladders.
- Frequently needing to bend, twist, kneel, reach, and / or grasp.
- Have the ability to lift and / or carry-up to 50 pounds.
- Running, as needed.
Qualifications:
- Having a positive and professional relationship with employees and clients.
- Excellent interpersonal and leadership capabilities.
- Being familiar with MS Office applications and various technology devices.
- Analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
- Exceptional communication skills, verbally or written, to all levels of management.
