Job description
- We're looking for an experienced Financial Coordinator to join our team. The ideal candidate has prior experience in the medical field, have basic knowledge regarding insurance and proficient with data entry software. Must be outgoing and have excellent interpersonal skills. This is a fast-paced environment and we are looking for someone who can think quickly to react to challenging situations and efficiently manage the flow of information for patients within the office.
Responsibilities:
- Greet patients on the telephone and in person
- Post procedures in dental software
- Calculate, review, & collect the patient’s payment for the appointment
- File Dental Claims
- File Pretreatment estimates and communicate amount due from patient
- Follow up on pretreatments and other medical requests
- Complete thank you letters to referring doctors
- Schedule patients for follow up and surgical appointments
- Set up new patient charts
- Check treatment cards and confirm that all appropriate information is included
- Input patient data and charges into computer
- Participate in basic daily cleaning of the office
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00-17.00 Expected hours: 37 per week
