What are the responsibilities and job description for the Bus Driver position at New Albany Plain Local School District?
This position is not a route specialist, it is an assigned, regular bus route

- 5.75 Hours per school day Monday-Friday
- 188 Work Days
- Minimum pay $25.03/hour
- Calendar and AM/PM driving schedule will be provided
- Must possess or be physically qualified and capable of passing certain training requirements in order to secure a valid commercial driver license to drive a school bus
- Must have the ability to communicate effectively and work cooperatively with students, staff, parents and community members
- Must be able to take care of own bus/van to insure safety and welfare of passengers being transported
- Preference given to candidates who can demonstrate an excellent driving record
- Must have full support of the Coordinator of Transportation Services and Assistant Superintendent
