About the Position
The Recruiting & Professional Development Assistant, reporting directly to the firm’s Chief Recruiting Officer, will provide administrative support to the Recruiting and PD team. This is a position with firmwide responsibility thus occasional travel to our offices is required. This position is currently a hybrid role.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Assist with coordinating internal, external, and virtual recruiting
- Assist with planning and implementing the summer associate program, including orientation, manuals, work assignments, and social and training events.
- Assist with the coordination of lawyer training and initiatives.
- Manage meeting and program logistics, including scheduling, meeting rooms, set-up, and materials.
- Collaborate with various departments to ensure recruiting, professional development, and diversity information and statistics are accurately maintained and readily
- Assist with completing various client requests for development and diversity information as well as the completion of certain industry surveys.
- Track the recruiting and professional development
- Prepare and track expense forms and check requests as needed.
- Maintain CLE tracking
- Assist with special team
- Prepare regular and ad hoc reports as
- Provide administrative support on other activities as

Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience
- 1-2 years relevant experience preferred.
Qualifications
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with a diverse group of internal and external clients, including attorneys and business professionals.
- Self-starter who is organized and has the ability to juggle multiple priorities and
- Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to offer creative
- Excellent written and verbal communication
- Ability to think broadly, demonstrate a high level of initiative and follow
- Demonstrated experience in Microsoft Office, including Excel, is Experience with viGlobal, including viRecruit, viUtilize, viCLE experience strongly preferred.

Compensation
Allen Matkins is an Equal Opportunity Employer and offers a competitive compensation & benefits package. The anticipated base salary range for this full-time role is $50,000 – $60,000 per year. Actual salary will depend upon a number of factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, job-related skills, qualifications, and location.
The base salary range displayed on the job posting reflects the estimated range for new hire salaries for the position. The actual offered base salary will be determined by work location and additional factors, including, but not limited to, relevant experience, job-related skills and qualifications. The pay range is subject to change at any time dependent on a variety of internal and external business factors.
Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
