What are the responsibilities and job description for the Transitional Housing Case Manager working with youth position at New Alternatives, Inc.?
Work Schedule: Tuesday - Saturday
New Alternatives is seeking a motivated individual to join the team. The position works with young adults ages 18 yr - 24 yr currently or formerly in foster care system. Case managers would work as part of a team to assist young adults to learn the skills necessary to become self sufficient.
Case Manager will assist youth with connecting to community partners to meet their needs, assist youth with employment searching, navigating educational system and teaching basic living skills.
- Must possess a Bachelor’s Degree.
- Must possess a valid California Driver’s License, proof of automobile insurance and have access to reliable automobile
- Ideal candidates will have experience working with youth that are affected by trauma and have knowledge of the impact of trauma in our clients.
- Ideal candidate will have reliable transportation and be able to pass a live scan clearance.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00 - $42,000.00 per year
