This position works with children who are survivors of childhood abuse. New Alternatives is a Trauma Informed Care facility who believes in putting an end to the generational cycle of abuse.
- Shift available : Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri (12-8) Sat (9-5)
- Bachelor’s Degree in related field
- 6 months experience working with children (volunteer work is acceptable)
- Must possess a valid California Driver’s License, proof of automobile insurance and have access to reliable automobile
- Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Provide support to the child and family during court ordered visitation
- Assist in transportation of youth
- Establish and maintain appropriate boundaries with the child and family
- Accurate case documentation of services provided
- Computer literate; demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office and web-based applications
- Work as part of a team
