Join Our Team as a Mortgage Loan Originator
New American Funding is seeking an experienced loan originator to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for originating loans, building strong customer relationships, and driving business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Originating Loans: Source and process new loan leads, ensuring timely and efficient loan closings.
- Customer Relationship Building: Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential borrowers, ensuring their needs are met and exceeded.
- Financial Analysis: Analyze customers' financial situations and recommend suitable loan products.
- Loan Processing: Process loan applications, lock loans, and submit paperless loan packages to production staff.
Requirements
- Experience: 2 years' full-time purchase or refinance loan origination experience; call center environment preferred.
- Sales Skills: Strong desire to succeed in a sales environment and achieve top producer status.
- Knowledge: Complete understanding of conventional and government loan programs (purchase and refinance).
- Licensing: Current NMLS license required; must have passed National test & 20 hour lic. course.
