PRODUCTION - HARVEST
These positions entail the process of breaking down the animal carcass. This includes removing the hide, viscera, and head. It also includes trimming all contamination from the carcass after harvest. Equipment used includes various machinery, knives, and hands. The environment for this position is warm to hot (80°-100° F). Every Harvest production position requires standing for the entire shift.
- Must be 18 years of age and authorized to work in the United States
- Must have reliable transportation to get to and from the workplace.
- Ability to interact and communicate effectively in a diverse workforce.
- Act responsibly as a member of a team and perform duties as directed by company leadership.
- Strictly adhere to established production work schedules, departmental goals, and expectations.
- Obey safety rules and exercise caution in all work activities.
- Physical Demands: ability to walk, stand, bend, lift up to 50 pounds frequently, push and pull in a hot or cold environment for 8-10 hours/day.
- Must be able to work Saturdays when required.
