What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Bus Driver position at New Auburn School District?
School Bus Drivers
The New Auburn School District is accepting applications for two school bus drivers due to retirements. On-the-job, paid training will be provided. We are seeking reliable and dedicated individuals to safely transport students to and from school, adhering to routes and schedules, while ensuring student safety and order on the bus.
During the school year, the daily routes are AM and PM, totaling 5.5 hours per day. Extra hours may be available for extracurricular activities.
Qualifications:
- Bus driver experience is preferred but not required.
- Valid Wisconsin’s Driver’s License with an acceptable driving record.
- CDL (Commercial Driver’s License) or willingness to obtain. The district will provide training in the spring. Candidates will shadow/ride along with our current drivers and benefit from their combined 40 years of experience in our district.
Compensation:The starting rate of pay is $18 per hour with full benefits, including health insurance, health savings account contribution, dental insurance, life insurance, vision insurance, disability insurance, and Wisconsin Retirement benefits.
