JOB MISSION:
This is a unique opportunity to join a growing Global Sports Marketing organization by working directly with New Balance’s Global Sports Marketing Leadership Team at our Global Headquarters in Boston, MA. The Global Sports Marketing Coordinator will report to the Vice President, Global Sports Marketing and help to support the VP and Senior Sports Marketing leadership team. MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:
Proactively manage schedules and meeting planning for VP, Global Sports Marketing and support six global Directors/ Head of Sports Marketing Managers from the Global Sports Marketing leadership team
Establish strong communication, and working relationships, with administrators outside of Global Sports Marketing to enable integrated planning across departments
Attend team meetings and take ownership of ad hoc Sports Marketing projects
Act as a key point of contact for NB’s external partners and take a leadership role in key meeting planning and follow-ups
Establish 1:1 communication with Regional Sports Marketing leaders outside of U.S. for key meeting planning and follow-up
REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:
1 years’ experience in a professional setting
Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to timelines and delivery dates
An ability to manage multiple tasks by setting (and re-setting) priorities as conditions warrant
An interest in Sports Marketing strongly preferred
Athletic or related industry experience a plus, but not required
Self-starter, confident, proactive about reaching out to gain feedback and problem solve

Flexible Work Schedule

New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday).
