JOB MISSION:

The New Balance design team is a closely connected global community united by a common pursuit of setting the standard for product quality, this our legacy to uphold through a balance of innovation and craftsmanship.

The Creative Culture and Digital Storytelling team’s mission is to supply the tools, assets and experiences that inspire a culture of creativity and elevates product storytelling through expertly crafted visualizations.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITIES:

Packaging Design. Your primary focus will be creating brand right industry defining packaging for our collaboration partners, global ambassadors, athletes, numeric and inline teams.

Culture and Storytelling Projects. You will help with various graphic exploration as time permits (Decks, Invites, Identity, Awards, Swag, for culture events. Footwear, Apparel, Innovation, Archive, Culture and Accessories branding guidelines and identity explorations that ensure product teams show up as One NB).

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

• Collaborative individual that seeks out, navigates and actions feedback with ease.

• Action oriented with ability to track key dates and deliverables.

• Obsesses product details that meet brand quality standards and considers environmental impact.

• High level of taste with ability creating original concepts that exude NB quality and craftsmanship.

• Passion and awareness for the sport, culture, trend, and design landscape.

• Proficiency in the Adobe Suite.

• Experience in 3D a plus, you will be required to bring a strong desire to learn.

• Strong Communication and Storytelling skills (visual and verbal)

• Strong understanding of typography, color theory, and layout.

• Knowledge of printing processes, materials, artwork setup, prepping files for print production.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in graphic design or relevant experience or related field. (Packaging design experience a plus).

• You will be based in our Brighton headquarters, travel to Lawrence will be required 1 day a week.

• This is a hybrid position - in office three days a week, Tues Wed and Thursday.

Flexible Work Schedule

For decades we have fostered a unique culture founded on our values with a particular focus on in-person teamwork and collaboration. Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Our offices are fully open, and amenities are available across our North American office locations. To continue our focus on hybrid work we have introduced “Work from Anywhere” (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year. This model will help us enhance our culture while continuing to maintain elements of flexibility.
