JOB MISSION:

The Lifestyle Commercial team manages retail distribution and Go-To-Market activities for North America Lifestyle Specialty and Key Accounts.

The growth in digital commerce and data-driven decision making across this Channel requires an evolved operating and planning process. This role will assist the Business Operations and General Manager, and Key Account Managers with sell–in and sell-through activities to unlock opportunities, promote sustainable growth and gain share within the marketplace.

MAJOR ACCOUNTABILITES:

Drives Digital Experience and Engagement – 55%

  • Digital Site auditing and reporting to promote digital growth
  • Partner with Sales and Marketing to ensure site placements and promotions coordinate with GTM strategies
  • Leads online product attribution and digital assets set-ups
  • Assist in Drop Ship strategy, process management & reporting

Supports Sales Process & Planning – 25%

  • Develops tools to assist in the execution of Channel strategies through the seasonal selling cycle
  • Coordinate logistics and meeting summaries for retailer meetings.
  • Understand and support execution of Long-Range Plans through collaborative meeting lanes.

Analyzes and Assesses Opportunities and Risks – 15%

  • Leverage Marketplace selling trends to outline in-season retail analytics for opportunity and risk identification
  • Support weekly business reviews summarizing core KPI metrics, quick-hit opportunities, and relevant insights
  • Manages incremental business opportunities through available to sell inventory

Ad hoc and Stretch Assignments – 5%

  • Ad hoc analytical projects and sales focused stretch assignments to help gain higher level exposure to the business/organization in effort to accelerate career development, networking and support the broader Channel team.

REQUIREMENTS FOR SUCCESS:

  • 1-3 years of retail (in-store or ecommerce), analyst, sales, or account service management. Previous experience in athletic industry or consumer product goods preferred.
  • Strong financial acumen with an understanding of retail metrics
  • Understanding of Athletic Footwear and Apparel retail landscape
  • Analytical skills with the ability to problem solve and turn data into actionable insights
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, V-Lookups) and PowerPoint
  • Works independently and successfully in a cross-functional team environment
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Flexible Work Schedule

Our North American hybrid model encourages rich in-person experiences, showcasing our commitment to teamwork and connection, while maintaining flexibility for associates. New Balance Associates currently work in office three days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday). Our offices are fully open, and amenities are available across our North American office locations. To continue our focus on hybrid work we have introduced “Work from Anywhere” (WFA) for four weeks per calendar year. This model will help us enhance our culture while continuing to maintain elements of flexibility.
