We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in our facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for guests and staff alike. This position is essential in the hospitality industry, where high standards of cleanliness and service are paramount.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, hallways, and common areas in accordance with established standards.
- Ensure all surfaces are dusted, sanitized, and free of debris.
- Conduct floor care duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing as needed.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; notify management when supplies need replenishing.
- Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing cleaning tasks.
- Assist with special cleaning projects as required.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial work is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of housekeeping management practices and floor care techniques is beneficial.
- Experience with industrial cleaning methods is an advantage.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
