Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with individuals, particularly children, to implement behavior analysis strategies that promote positive behavioral changes and improve overall quality of life. You will collaborate with families and other professionals to develop effective treatment plans based on applied behavior analysis principles.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine individual needs and develop tailored behavior intervention plans.
- Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Maintain accurate medical documentation and records in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Monitor progress and modify treatment plans as necessary based on patient assessment outcomes.
- Collaborate with families, educators, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive support for clients.
- Provide training and support to parents and caregivers on behavioral strategies and interventions.
- Participate in regular team meetings to discuss client progress and share insights on best practices in behavioral health.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles and techniques.
- Proficiency in medical documentation practices and maintaining confidentiality in accordance with HIPAA standards.
- Experience conducting diagnostic evaluations and assessments related to behavioral health.
- Familiarity with special education processes and strategies for working with children with diverse needs.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for effective collaboration with clients, families, and team members.
- Ability to assess patient needs accurately and develop appropriate intervention strategies.
- Experience working directly with children in a therapeutic or educational setting is highly desirable.

Pay: $70,350.00 - $90,000.00 per year
