Registered Behavior Technician Qualifications :
Must be 18 years of age
Posses a minimum of a high school diploma or national equivalent
Complete 40 hours of training
Complete background check
Have passed the RBT Competency Assessment
Have passed the RBT within 1 year of hire date
Or hold a certification as a Board-Certified Autism Technician (B-CAT)
Or hold a BA
STRONG passion and desire to work with individuals with developmental delays
Registered Behavior Technician Duties :
Implement ABA therapy programs and behavior management techniques as prescribed in the individuals treatment and behavior plan in the home or community setting
Demonstrate adequate knowledge and understanding of basic ABA principles
Complete data collection for each learner as directed and communicate notable findings from sessions to individuals behavior analyst
Communication effectively with a variety of staff members included other RBTs, Clinical supervisor and Executive director
Work collaboratively with each individuals team
Effectively request and communicate any areas needing clarification
Maintain professional relationships with individual and caregivers
Ability to work in an active job that may require periodic lifting of 20 pounds
Love working with some of the coolest learners, therapist an analysts
