Come bring your leadership skills and passion for adolescents to New Beginnings Behavioral Health! We are hiring Shift Managers for our adolescent RESIDENTIAL TREATMENT program located in Draper, Utah. We are hiring for immediate positions!
Shift Supervisors work along side of the Youth Mentors who provide direct mental health support to male and female youth (12-17 years old) in the mental health residential treatment setting. The position places an emphasis on ensuring safety, supervision, and security among the residents. Residents have high mental and or behavioral health needs. Shift Manager/Lead candidates must possess critical decision making skills, with a history of emotionally and social stability. All staff must be drug free themselves, and have a passion for and commitment towards working with high risk and emotional vulnerable children.
Manager Employment Requirement:
- High School Diploma or equivalent and relevant experience;
- Valid Utah Drivers License;
- DMV History Report;
- FBI background check;
- CPR and First Aid certification
- Food Handlers Permit;
Job Duties:
Managers implement and maintains New Beginnings' mission, vision and values in all facets of performance.
Managers maintain the therapeutic environment appropriate to at risk population, emphasizing the health and safety of consumers, staff, and community, while complying with facility and property maintenance standards as defined by the agency and by external regulatory and contractual parties;
Managers provides required levels of supervision and security for clients at all times;
Managers promote healthy, professional, and teaching relationships with clients in all daily living activities that facilitate competency development, improve safety, enhance permanency attainment, and increase overall well being;
Managers provides time, accurate and professional written and verbal documentation of all program operations and service components;
Managers anticipates and/or intervenes directly in crisis situations, using approved behavior management and crisis intervention techniques, including but not limited to: de-escalation; conflict resolution; individual and/or group strategies;
Managers supervises and documents the administration of prescribed and non-prescribed medications in accordance with state regulations and agency policies;
Managers will be responsible for other duties as needed.

Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
