**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Children’s Pastor to lead and nurture the spiritual growth of our children, from birth through 6th grade, in a safe, engaging, and Christ-centered environment.
Responsibilities
- Spiritual Leadership: Develop and implement a vision for the children’s ministry that aligns with the overall mission of the church and create an engaging, biblically sound curriculum for children that teaches foundational Christian principles.
- Program Development: Oversee all aspects of Sunday morning children’s programs, midweek activities, and special events such as Vacation Bible School (VBS) or family outreach events and organize and manage children’s ministry programs, ensuring they are age-appropriate, creative, and impactful.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, and equip a team of volunteers to serve in various capacities within the children’s ministry and provide ongoing mentorship, support, and appreciation to volunteers.
- Family Engagement: Partner with parents to support the spiritual development of their children at home and serve as a resource for families by providing tools, encouragement, and prayer.
- Administration: Maintain a safe and secure environment by adhering to church policies and child protection standards.
- Oversee the budget, resources, and scheduling for the children’s ministry.
- Regularly evaluate and improve ministry programs based on feedback and church goals.
Qualifications
- A vibrant and growing personal relationship with Jesus Christ.
- A calling to children’s ministry and a heart for teaching kids about God’s love.
- Bachelor’s degree in ministry, education, or a related field (preferred but not required).
- Proven experience working with children in a church or ministry setting.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with church staff, volunteers, and parents.
- Creativity and enthusiasm for engaging children in learning about their faith.

Pay: $30,000.00 - $35,000.00 per year
