CONSTRUCTION SITE SUPERVISOR Mission:

As the daily presence onsite for our renovation projects, our site supervisors play an extremely important role with all of our renovation projects. The customer, subcontractors and NBC's project managers lean heavily on the site supervisor for their expertise to ensure the schedules, material procurement and proper sequence of work is being flawlessly executed.

In the role you will be:

• Managing a few sites simultaneously and ensuring that all construction projects meet scheduling goals and meet or exceed client expectations
• Occasionally tasked with performing parts of the construction project as schedules, workload subcontractor resources dictate.
• Leading clients through an exceptional experience
• Ensuring projects are built according to approved plans, specifications, shop drawings, and applicable building codes while maintaining high-quality standards
• Preparing construction cost estimates, purchase orders, and change orders for the project manager and office admin team
• Developing and maintaining construction schedules in conjunction with the project team to meet milestones and completion dates
• Providing clear direction to team members to ensure project targets are achieved
• Attending and providing input at project meetings with multiple stakeholders, anticipating stakeholder needs, and proactively identifying solutions to support ongoing projects
• Leading project teams to identify and manage opportunities and risks to achieve the best possible results for scope, quality, schedule, and financial targets
• Maintaining, tracking, and reporting financial aspects of projects including subcontractors, materials, coding, forecasts, and billings
• Managing the procurement process
• Ensuring all NBC Construction employees and subcontractors are communicating with customers in a professional and appropriate manner
• Supporting and maintaining healthy, happy work environments and corporate culture
• Maintaining clean, organized, and professional presentation of work sites

Experience required:

• You are a skilled site superintendent that has experience working on & managing construction projects from execution to completion.
• Minimum of 5 years in construction
• Carpentry skills – framing & trim carpentry strongly desired
• Experience with construction management software tools and current technology is a bonus
• Reliable Transportation required with a valid driver's license
• Clean and presentable appearance
• Education: High School diploma or equivalent. An associate degree and/or degree in construction trade/management is strongly preferred, but not required
