New Beginnings for Exceptional People provides Supported Living Services to adults with developmental disabilities living independently in the community.
Our goal? To help them live independent EXCEPTIONAL lives – here is what you can do to help make that happen;
You work as part of a team to support our EXCEPTIONAL clients by;
Helping teach clients to maintain their homes, shop within a budget, plan and prepare meals.
Helping them make and attend medical, dental, and other appointments, provide medication reminders
Prompting them in all areas of personal care.
Teaching and assisting them in accessing community services.
Teaching appropriate social skills.
About This Position
We are seeking a self-starter with a fun and motivational personality to join our team as a Caregiver! The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing redirection and encouragement, capable of working independently, and skilled at fostering a positive and engaging environment.
We have multiple part time positions assisting clients with a range of personal care tasks, preparing meals to ensure their nutritional needs are met. You’ll also help with household chores, including helping care for Stich (the household Kitty), as well as plan and facilitate outings and engaging activities, creating a supportive and encouraging atmosphere that helps the client(s) stay motivated and on track with their daily routines. Please see available shifts below. This position requires some flexibility, evening weekend availability a must.

Mon/Wed- 6am-9am
Mon/Tues/Wed- 9am-1pm
Wed- 5pm-9pm
Sat 10am-5pm, 5pm-11pm
Sun 10am-5pm, 4pm-11pm
Team Member Qualifications
Ability to pass a DOJ background check.
Ability to pass a drug test.
Must have Current California Driver’s License, clean DMV record, and proof of current auto insurance.
