New Beginnings Housing is dedicated to providing affordable housing solutions and support services for individuals with developmental disabilities. We are seeking a passionate and experienced Executive Director to lead our organization, oversee operations, and drive our mission forward.
About the Role
As the Executive Director, you will serve as the Chief Executive Officer, reporting directly to the Board of Directors. You will be responsible for strategic planning, financial management, operations oversight, fundraising, and advocacy efforts.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Collaborate with the Board to develop and implement strategic goals.
- Financial Management: Work with the Treasurer to maintain financial records, oversee budgets, and handle billing.
- Operations & Property Management: Respond to tenant requests, hire contractors, and manage property maintenance.
- Marketing & Outreach: Develop marketing materials and represent the organization at events.
- Human Resources: Supervise staff, maintain compliance, and oversee hiring.
- Fundraising & Grants: Identify funding opportunities and work with a grant writer.
- Advocacy: Represent the organization at relevant housing and community meetings.
- Case Management: Assist with direct case management services when needed.
Qualifications
- Experience in nonprofit management, housing, or a related field.
- Strong leadership, financial, and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of affordable housing and regional center services preferred.
- Ability to build relationships with stakeholders, donors, and community partners.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
