What are the responsibilities and job description for the Direct Care Support Staff position at New Beginnings of Starbuck, Inc.?
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities or special needs
- Implement individualized care plans
- Assist with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, meal preparation, and medication administration
- Support individuals in participating in recreational and social activities
- Document and maintain accurate records of individuals' progress and behaviors
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the well-being and safety of individuals
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for individuals
Requirements:
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain confidentiality
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a team setting
- Flexibility in scheduling, including availability for evening, weekend, and holiday shifts
