Duties
- Perform a variety of nail services including manicures, pedicures, nail enhancements, and nail art.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their preferences and provide personalized recommendations.
- Sanitate tools and workstations according to health and safety regulations.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in nail care and beauty treatments.
- Upsell additional services or retail products to enhance client satisfaction.
- Assist clients with eyelash extensions if qualified, ensuring proper application techniques are followed.
- Provide knowledge on color theory to help clients choose suitable shades for their nails.
- Collaborate with team members to maintain a positive work environment.
Qualifications
- Valid cosmetology license or certification in nail technology.
- Strong communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.
- Experience with esthetic laser treatment and dermabrasion is a plus.
- Knowledge of retail sales techniques to promote products effectively.
- Familiarity with hair styling is beneficial but not mandatory.
- Ability to perform tasks with attention to detail while maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
