Paraprofessional:
This position provides support for individuals with behavioral issues and provides community-based services. This position helps the individual learn daily life skills to meet their own goals for rehabilitation and recovery.
Minimum Qualifications: Completion of a Bachelor’s Degree (BA) from an accredited college or university. Completion of 90 quarter hours (60 semester hours) at an accredited institution of higher learning, and two years of full-time/part-time work experience with contact with clients. Must have a valid GA Driver’s License.

Duties to include:
1. Advocate, explain and protect the rights of individuals and their families.
2. Assist in the implementation of the program individual’s individual service plan by providing direct service to the individual and their family.
3. Provide supportive case management/family skills and problem solving assistance on an ongoing basis.
4. Complete required documentation regarding services provided and other documentation as requested.
5. Maintain the confidentiality of individuals’ records.
6. Attend staff meetings and other meetings as requested.
7. Ensure all training compliance for self.
8. Any other duties requested by Clinical Director or supervisor.
