Position : Nursing (APRN / NP)
Reports to : This position reports to their Clinical Team Leader.
Salary Pay : $55k - $60k (based on experience)

Job Description :
The APRN / NP will initiate and provide nursing and medical care for the patients. This critical important position will provide various services to ensure overall wellness and continuity of care to those whom the agency serve. The APRN / NP will also provide an array of CORE or other Medicaid services to individuals according to the most recent FY Medicaid guidelines, policies and procedures, and NBT guidelines, policies and procedures.
Minimum Qualifications :
- RN and graduation from a post-basic education program for Nurse Practitioners or
- Masters Degree or higher in nursing for the CNS / PMH (Clinical Nurse Specific / Psychiatric Mental Health)
- Current Georgia Licensure by the Georgia Board of Nursing.
- First Aid / CPR Certified.
- Current and active DEA Registration (if prescribing medication)
- Minimum of 1-year experience working with clientele suffering from MH / SA issues and their families a plus.
- Maintain documentation of completing 20 contact hours every 2 years from the Georgia Nursing Board for approved continuing education courses.
- Currently being supervised by a MD or Psychiatrist and listed with the Georgia Medical Board.
