What are the responsibilities and job description for the Home Based BI (Behavioral Interventionist) position at New Behavioral Network?
Are you passionate about helping children reach their full potential through Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)? We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Behavior Interventionist to provide in-home ABA services in Lawnside, NJ
Role Overview:
- Deliver 1:1 ABA-based interventions to support the child’s behavioral, social, and communication development.
- Implement individualized behavior plans created by the supervising BCBA.
- Provide support with behavior management, communication skills, and daily routines.
- Track progress, document behaviors, and adjust interventions as needed.
- Collaborate closely with the child’s family and BCBA to ensure consistent, effective treatment.
Ideal Candidate:
- Must have a High School Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree Preferred
- Must be available at least 10 hours per week (after school hours)
- Experience providing ABA services to children with developmental or behavioral challenges.
- Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification or ABA experience (preferred).
- Strong understanding of ABA techniques and behavior intervention strategies.
- Patient, reliable, and able to build positive, trusting relationships with children.
- Effective communication skills for working with families and teams.
- Experience with Rethink automated documentation a plus!
Location: Lawnside, NJ
Hours: Flexible schedule during after school hours.
