What are the responsibilities and job description for the Parents as Teachers Parent Educator position at New Bloomfield Elementary?
New Bloomfield R-III School District, a four day school district, is looking for a PAT Parent Educator for the 2025-26 School Year.
The Parent Educator works with parents/guardians of children from prenatal to kindergarten entry. Parent Educators provide parent/guardian education to enhance the quality of parenting and educate parent/guardians as to their child’s development. They provide family support through community involvement and guide parents/guardians to resources to make it possible for children to reach their full potential. Flexible scheduling as home visits may include evenings and an occasional Saturday.
Qualifications: Complete Parents as Teachers Parent Educator training program. A minimum of 60 college credit hours or 5 years of experience with young children and families. EOE

High Needs Home Visits $70.00
Individual Screenings $25.00
Group Connection Coordination $40.00
