Responsibilities
- Provide administrative support to ensure efficient operation of the office.
- Manage phone systems and handle incoming calls, directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Assist in scheduling patient appointments .
- Perform clerical duties such as insurance filing, email management, and maintaining organized records.
- Serve as a dental receptionist when required, greeting patients and managing their inquiries.
- Proofread documents for accuracy and clarity before distribution.
- Support customer service efforts by addressing patient inquiries and providing necessary assistance.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline processes and improve overall efficiency.
- Verify patient insurance plans and be able to relay insurance plan information to patients.
Qualifications
- General dental experience preferred
- Experience with Dentrix dental software preferred
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- Front desk dental experience is preferred but not required.
- Excellent proofreading skills with attention to detail.
- Proficient in using phone systems and various office software applications.
- Strong customer service and support skills with a focus on patient satisfaction.
- General knowledge of dental insurance billing.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
