DAEP Instructional Aide
Qualifications:
1. High school diploma or GED.
2. Highly structured and disciplined.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Work with certified teachers and campus administrators to create and maintain
an orderly and highly structured classroom environment.
2. Maintain confidentiality.
3. Supervise students assigned to the Isolation room for disciplinary reasons.
4. Supervise students during lunch and breaks.
5. Work with individual students to complete writing assignments.
6. Supervise students in all areas on the campus and in the building as assigned.
7. Supervise regular classrooms when needed.
8. Distribute, collect, and check student assignments.
9. Maintain individual files of completed student assignments.
10.Supervise the unloading and loading of buses each day.
11. Help do searches.
12.Participate in staff development training programs, faculty meetings, and special
events as assigned.
13.Be punctual in all areas.
14.Be a positive role model for all students and maintain a positive attitude.
15.Perform other duties as assigned.
