WHAT YOU’LL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR IN THIS ROLE
This position will perform multiple functions in support of the Warehouse department. Candidate will be responsible to perform administrative functions. To perform this job successfully, individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- Data entry, data maintenance, filing / organization, and report generation
- Drafting, distribution and posting of communications
- Review, approve / deny and distribute invoices for approval
- Maintain time keeping records (Kronos), including entry of employee sick time and vacation hours
- Coordinate with temporary labor agencies on needs, assignment updates and invoicing
- Track headcount to plan and coordinate with leadership and HR on posting job openings
- Ordering and maintaining supplies inventories and other items as required.
- Pick up and deliver checks, supplies, etc as required
- Provide customer service support when necessary to a variety of clients
- Coordinate meetings and special events for the department
- Review and provide findings on customer claims related to Warehouse (OSD’s)
- Monitor and collect required training signoffs, and report out progress milestones
- Participate in departmental compliance walkthroughs and audits for Safety and Quality
- Track, communicate and assist with completion of corrective actions related to Safety and Quality
- Other duties as assigned
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Required Skills and Abilities:
- Experience with Microsoft Office suite and time keeping systems.
- Ability to multi-task
- Proactive attitude and strong organizational skills
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED or one year of related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Candidates must have a verifiable history of safe vehicle operation and meet company standards for driving eligibility. This includes maintaining a clean driving record, which will be verified through a background check
Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Accounting, Finance, or a closely related field
- Bi-lingual Spanish and English
- Experience using the following systems: Kronos, JD Edwards, Red Prairie / Blue Yonder
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Operate office equipment requires repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard.
- Work is performed primarily in an office setting, with the majority of the time at a computer workstation.
- May be required to stand/walk for extended period of time during work.
- May be required to walk, climb stairs/steps.
- Lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight up to 25lbs.
HOURS & WORKDAYS:
- 1st Shift 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday, when business requires overtime and weekends will be mandatory
