We are actively seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our administrative team.
The Medical Assistant is a multi-skilled member of the New Century team who performs administrative and clinical procedures.
Responsibilities
Serve visitors by greeting, welcoming, directing and announcing them appropriately.
Answer, screen and forward any incoming phone calls while providing basic information as needed.
Receive and sort daily mail / deliveries / couriers.
Update appointment calendars and schedule meetings / appointments.
Perform other clerical duties such as filing, photocopying, collating, faxing etc.
Administer 2 Step PPDs.
Keep an accurate inventory of medical supplies and medications.
Maintains confidential information of the work place according to the policies and procedures of the institution and HIPAA regulations.
Demonstrates the ability to organize and plan daily work with completion requirements, answering multi-line telephone calls.

Requirements
Must be a Certified Medical Assistant.
Must be fluent in English and Spanish
Must have graduated from an accredited Medical Assisting program.
Must have passed the examination to be certified also.
